The book is bound in coated black cloth with the title and author in gilt on the spine. Corners are sharp and the binding is square and tight. pages are clean, crisp, smooth an unmarked. The J is in very good condition with light foxing on the inside panels. the original price is on the back flap. The author taught English at the University of Arizona.

Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library, based in Brunswick, Maine is a non-profit corporation that exists solely to assist the Curtis Memorial Library in its many activities, principally through fundraising by the sale of used books. Operating through a retail outlet located at 200 Maine St. in Brunswick and through its on-line sales activities, Curtis Friends operates only with volunteers from the local community and sells only those books donated by its constituents. Curtis Friends has been in existence for several decades.
