Missing front endpaper, half title and title - hence undated but assumed first printing, 1984.; First printing of special overseas mass market edition, 1988. Nice tight copy, no names inside. Wrap around cover artwork by Paul Wright. ; 224 pages; Brian Johnston had a long and distinguished career with the BBC.
