Original wrappers. Vertical crease. Very Good. First Edition. Author's Offprint. Garrison-Morton 1121: "Bayliss and Starling developed the theory of hormonal control of internal secretion." In the following year Starling introduced the word "hormone" (see Garrison-Morton 1122).
