London: Methuen & Co., 1923. First UK Edition. Octavo (19cm); red cloth boards with black stamping; 243+8pp of publisher ads; black-and-white illustrations throughout. Lacks dust jacket. Boards bumped. Spine opens easily in several places but binding remains sound. Textblock, endsheets, and interior pages toned. Former owner's signature in black ink at fep. Very Good or better. Laid-in at front is a small cut-out piece of the original illustrated dust jacket.
