First edition. 1908 is the date of the Arthur Sidgwick introduction, although Wikipedia states not published until 1909. Black, green and gilt decorated boards and spine. Binding is good with just a little play to upper hinge. A previous owner ex libris sticker on fixed fep, and name repeated on adjoining fep, which is also a little tanned. Thereafter, text pages and illustrations (all present) are all remarkably clean with no foxing or tanning. Publishers catalogue to rear which itself contains some lovely illustrations. No dustjacket.
