China into the Future is a unique and valuable collection of insights from some of the most experienced and respected contemporary China analysts. Reading this book is like taking an intensive course in the economic, social and political future of China.--Michael Koenig, President of Bayer Greater China Group, Shanghai
An exceptional book. No business executive should engage China until they have read this systematic unlocking of the China puzzle made so accessible by John Hoffmann, Michael Enright and their global network of China experts.--Vince Harris, OBE, Regional Managing Director - Asia International Power plc., London & Singapore
China into the Future provides great insights into the complexities of contemporary Chinese social and political realities, and future development trajectories while avoiding the common fallacy of trying to capture China through all-embracing generalizations or simplistic hypotheses.--Tom Behrens-S?rensen, Executive Vice President of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, Chairman of Maersk China Limited, Beijing
Yesterday you needed to understand China if you had direct dealings with that part of the world. Today you have to understand China to understand the world. This book offers substantial confidence to those who have to think responsibly about the years ahead. I am sure it will be read with close attention in China.--John Gerson CMG, Head of Government & Political Affairs, BP plc, London
