Fine in a bit worn, very good dustwrapper with chipping at the crown (not affecting the title) and some very shallow chipping at the top of the rear panel. Autobiography of a black man raised in an affluent section of Boston. Includes his business and civic activities in Boston and Harlem, his association with Lincoln Steffens, and his experiences in the Spanish-American War.
