Tells the story of Fitzie and Janice fleeing Boston, first for the Army and Germany, then for New York's Madison Avenue and family life in the suburbs. A really good book that nicely captures a young couple breaking free and getting lost along with the rest of the country.
Edward Hannibal was an American novelist and journalist best known for his satirical novel Chocolate Days, Popsicle Weeks, which drew critical praise for its witty take on Wall Street and 1960s culture. In addition to fiction, he worked as a journalist and financial writer, bringing his sharp observations of business and society into both his reporting and creative work.
