Small 8vo, pp vi, [2], 160, [16, adverts dated Feb 1863], uncut in original purple cloth, faded to spine as usual, sepia endpapers, else very good tight clean copy, FIRST EDITION, a classic study of probablity and statistics, much apprasied and appreciated by better minds than ours, including some booksellers. It passed through several editions and revision, but this copy has the merit of being a first and fairly scarce in anythign like reasonable condition.
