About this Item

28 pages of great engravings of Rome. Original paperback binding in Good condition, some wear, tearing to spine, some dirt, inscription front including Jan 17th 53 for 1853, detached from contents. Contents mostly good, clean & very tight copy, no inscriptions, held together by original cord, the odd edge mark. Each page is contains a b/w engraving of a historic site in Rome. Most signed within the work Pernie inc. not sure if just the engraver, or artist and engraver. Only held by 4 WorldCat member libraries worldwide. Not dated, some think c1860, But as this is dated for1853, would guess published c1850. At time of listing, only found one other copy for sale, but no image or proper condition or description report. Size: 19 x 13cm. Aprox.
