153 pp., 5.25 x 8 inches. Sewn signatures in printed card covers. Faint foxing to edges, and very mild bump to base of spine, otherwise very good. A student edition of the French text of Perec's first book, winner of the1965 Prix Renaudot, with an introduction, annotations, questions and composition topics, and vocabulary by the editor. Perec was a member of the international literary confraternity known as Oulipo ("Ouvroir ce Litterature Potentielle" or Workshop of Potential Literature), which began as a subcommitte of the College of Pataphysics. An uncommon form of this book, and a particularly "Oulipian" version of Perec's first novel. Seller Inventory # 488
