8vo, 362 pp, frontispiece, engravings in the text two of which are full page. Original blind stamped floral designed cloth with the paper label on the spine showing some loss. Some slight splitting to the edge of the boards and spine but contents firm. A previous owner's signature on the title page dated 1842 and some contemporary notations in the same hand on the front free end paper and a couple of minor annotations to the text margins but a very good copy.
