The first of the 'Studies in Latin Literature and its Influence' series, edited by D.R. DUDLEY & T.A. DOREY. Contains chapters by H.H. SCULLARD, T.A. DOREY, R.G.M. NISBET, A.E. DOUGLAS, G.B. TOWNSEND, M.L. CLARKE and J.P.V.D. BALSDON. Very good in very good jacket. Covers lightly soiled, with heavy spotting to top edge; light spotting to endpapers with previous ownership signature to front pastedown. Jacket moderately chipped, with light toning to spine panel. Text otherwise unmarked, binding square & tight.
