A very presentable copy of the 1942 1st edition of this seminal, scholarly text in city planning. Solid and VG (light offsetting to the pastedowns and endsheets, several pages of text opened roughly, causing light abrading) in a bright, price-intact ($5.00), VG+ dustjacket, with very mild chipping and several tiny closed tears along the panel edges. Oblong quarto, well over a hundred illustrations (crisp black-and-white photos and maps) complementing Jose Luis Sert's timeless text.
