Mocha coloured boards with cream paste downs containing titles to upper board and spine. Light water mark to the upper board. Knocks to the corners and some wear to the head of the spine. Ffep is missing and there is some toning to the half title and rear endpaper. Despite its faults, a charming copy and in very good condition. Black and white frontispiece of St. Pauls and 17 further plates of London churches. Split into sections ; churches built before the Great Fire (1100-1600); churches built by Christopher Wren and churches built after Wren. Two fold out maps in fine condition to the rear. Loosely laid in Daily Telegraph article titled 'Bill to Establish 16 Guild Churches in City' by C.B Mortlock, ecclesiastical correspondent. No Date but age toned. Foreword to the book by L. Cope Cornford.
