Black cloth with bright gilt lettering on the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket - a colour photograph of the 'Lighthouse Tower' sculpture which stands on the promenade of the Maritime Quarter. The d/j shows a very little 'shelfwear' and has one tiny chip with loss to the bottom of the rear cover but o/w is VG/Near Fine. Dustjacket is Not price-clipped. A b/w 18th century map of the Swansea area is on the front and back end-papers. No Inscriptions or Marks. (x) + 346 pp. Illustrated in b/w with 8 figures, 18 maps and 135 plates. "The book is a portrait of Swansea at the end of the twentieth century with nineteen chapters each written by different experts/academics."
