This volume , the first of a series devoted to the City of York, contains the then official Report of the Commission , with the list of Roman monuments selected as especially worthy of preservation; it is full of photographs and line drawings of archaeological sites. This book is an ex-library book with ink stamps from the Daily Telegraph over the end papers the title page, the copyright page and the contents page and the same is true of the back. the page edges have been stamped as well, there is also some writing in ink on the front end paper, however, the internal pages are clean and tight. The green boards are worn on the corners and edges and at the head of the the spine which as a tear. Seller Inventory # 02483
