The Fairfax Press, NY. A reprinting of Civil War front pages from across the war from the 4 January 1861 description of the war preparations in South Carolina to the NY Time front page of 28 May 1865 detailing the surrender of the final Confederate Army. Each page is a separate front page with lead stories about significant events of the Civil War. Wagman includes roughly 150 different front pages. Very good copy of the over sized first edition in a good+ dust jacket. The dust jacket has edge wear on the top of the jacket's back cover. The book is not paginated.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Our default shipping method is a cardboard box with bubble wrap and other protective packing materials. Domestic shipping rates are based on books weighing 2.2 lbs. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Multiple volume sets may also incur additional shipping charges. International shipping rates are based on book and packaging weighing 2 lbs or less.
