First edition. Small octavo. 317pp. Illustrated in black and white, with a single color plate. Bookplate of Lewis Stephen Pilcher on the front fly, almost certainly the noted surgeon and bibliophile whose collection of rare medical books is at Michigan, as well as another owner stamp and signature. Light binding wear, including a bit at the spine ends and a small faint stain on the cover, upper hinge a bit tender but sound, very good or better. Mayo Clinic Monographs. With a publisher's card laid in.
