Closing Pandora's Box: Unlocking the Woman Hero

In this finely crafted poetic narrative, R.R. Pollock bursts open the lock on "Pandora’s Box." For centuries, the myth "Pandora’s Box" was falsely reported, and the introduction of evil to the world blamed on misguided feminine curiosity. With an investigation of the original story, Pandora is recast in this poetic tale as a Woman-Hero in our modern age.

Ancient myth, a failed love affair, and pop culture interweave to produce a new metaphor that challenges conventional views on love, sex, and spirituality. The retelling of Pandora’s story provides the mythological framework for a journey of self-knowledge and empowerment. It is in casting off guilt and blame that men and women in pursuit of the perfect relationship can begin to distinguish between the false and the true, take action, and finally unlock the Woman-Hero hidden and waiting within.
