Ex-academic library, scarce first translated edition dated 1928 from the second edition of the author's 'Abhandlungen zur Wellenmechanik', published by Johann Ambrosius Barth, 1928. All other first editions appear to be dated 1929. Hardcover without dust jacket, in good condition. Boards are worn. Edges, corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed, with chips at the spine ends and a label on the lower spine. Page block is tanned and blemished. Library plates, borrowing slip, barcode and stamp on front pastedown, FEP and title page respectively. Binding has lost its original tightness and gutter breaks noted, however remains intact, and pages are clear. LW.
