Description:
The Collected Poems of A. E. Housman, Hardcover, First UK Edition (1939). Book in very good condition, in an acceptable unclipped dust jacket. The book has bumping to the spine ends and ageing internally, but is otherwise tightly bound. The dust jacket shows loss to the top of the spine, some small rubbing and tears to the extremities and hinges, and staining or ageing to the spine, including internally. It is now encased in a protective removable plastic sleeve. The condition can only be expected for a book of this age. (See pictures). The poems include 'A Shropshire Lad', first published in 1896, 'Last Poems', first published in 1922, and 'More Poems', first published in 1936. Seller Inventory # 001354
