True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (8s 6d). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, numerous tears, patchy loss, patchy browning (including to spine), creasing/rubbing to edges, few marks, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, minor foxing, creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps, is a little fragile and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with patchy fading (including to spine), few small marks, a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges, minor foxing, patchy browning and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Pages bit tanned. Small previous owner's name label inside front board. Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults.
