Edges show wear with chips and small tears. Blue cloth boards underneath show fading along edges and spine along with foxing spots. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. The front pastedown delete that the front end page contains the original owner signature along the top and a small bookstore label in the corner. No other handwriting found, no bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose. Pages are toned due to age and the end pages and pastedowns show toning and foxing due to reacting with dust jacket paper over the decades. Stated first edition on the copyright page. A note was found in between the pages, presumably from the original owner about the book. This will stay with the book.
