Item description from seller

Tall quarto, marbled boards with leather to corners and spine which has five bands. Corners and spine a little rubbed at extrems. The Contents are near fine. Ancient Doorways, pp.47 + 25 full page plates, two with some colouring, and one extra plate to show Rules for Gateways as laid down by Vitruvius. Modern Doorways pp.14 + 30 plates. The “Modern” gates and doorways are mainly renaissance and baroque. A very scarce book.
