Written by Edith Mary Pargeter, an English author of works in many categories, best known for her medieval detective series The Cadfael Chronicles, who was also honoured for her translations of Czech classics. Pargeter often wrote under the pen name of Ellis Peters. Externally, smart with light wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Original dust wrappers are unclipped other than The Heretic's Apprentice which is price-clipped. Wrappers are very smart with light wear to the extremities and fading to the spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small handling mark and minor age toning to the endpapers. Library ink stamps to the half-titles, title pages, and the odd page. Very Good.
