Light rubbing and a few minor scuffs to boards, minor worming to rear board, moderate rubbing to extremities, chips to spine ends, front joint starting at ends, corners bumped and lightly worn, hinges cracked. Moderate toning to interior, faint dampspotting to a few leaves, light edgewear to preliminaries. $350. * First edition. Arranged chronologically and then alphabetically digested, this was the first substantial effort to catalogue the realm's excise taxes aimed at consumers. Other editions followed in 1722, 1724 and 1737. Bound with our copy is an unrecorded printing of an act of George III continuing similar duties.
