Book in fine condition; area of faint toning along fore edge; bookseller's small label adhered to front free end paper; faint toning to clean interior; binding sound. Half jacket in fine condition; no imperfections. Both boards and half jacket protected in thick plastic form fitting sleeve. 199 numbered pages. Brown cloth boards with gold stamped lettering on front board and spine. 10.5 x 7 3/4 in. Includes thick card decorated slipcase, with heavy sunning along spine and mild rubbing along edges. Two clippings enclosed: 1) Scott Meredith, "To Love a Netsuke," Parade Magazine, May 4, 1986, pp. 12 and 14; 2) "Focus on Art," photograph with caption, "Early Mobile?," an ivory carved netsuke piece depicting a ball of mice at play.
