Condition issues include edge wear & light soiling to the front cover, a 1" x 1" chip at the top right corner, a very small at the center right, and a 1" closed tear at the bottom of the spine.The covers are loose. There are small closed tears to the middle of the fore edge of the pages through page 26. On the back of the rear cover there is a large, triangular chip (2" x 8.75") to the top left, a 2" closed tear at the top, just right of center, and light soiling. There are no cutouts or missing pages. A fair to good copy most notable for the Hammett story.
