First edition, hardcover, has a subtle lean to the binding, and cracking along both hinges, which are beginning to separate from the boards. The book also has light bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, foxing to the head of the text block, and a book plate to the first free end page. Overall, a Fair copy in a Good only jacket, which has lightly chipped bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, mild wear to the edges with a small loss to the head of the front, sunning to the spine, rubbing with smudges to the covers, and toned offsetting to the front fore edge.
