Early guide and promotional work that contains information for the prospective settler, with information on mining, stock growing, agriculture resources, recreation opportunities. This work was penned less than twenty years after the discovery of gold at Cherry Creek [Denver]. Both Eberstadt and Adams[Herd] describe this first edition as 'Rare.' Eberstadt 107:96. Herd 826.
