Two volume set. V1: 1941, 3rd printing. V2: 1937, 1st edition. Small, fairly light spot of soil on the front board of V1. Else bindings clean but for just a bit of very light rubbing. Gilt lettering bright. Company ownership inkstamps on the endpapers, title page and page edges of V1; on the front endpapers and title page of V2. Top corner of about 40 pages in V1 bumped/creased. Some age toning to the endpapers of both volumes, and come spotting on the page fore-edges of V1. Else pages clean. ; TEH18D.
