Leggermente rosicchiato il margine superiore della copertina posteriore, per il resto ottime condizioni. Prima edizione. Marco Antonio Grisaldi (1594 - 1646) fu professore di medicina pratica presso l'Università di Perugia. Il suo nome, però, è legato all'astronomia, in quanto pubblicò alcuni scritti tesi a sfatare la superstizione secondo cui le comete erano portatrici di disgrazie. Il più interessante è questo "Cometologia contra portentosam cometarum apparitionem" che è censito in soli 4 esemplari in ICCU. Riccardi I, c. 633. Cantamessa "Astrologia ins & outs", scheda n. 3409: "Importante opera del matematico Grisaldi diretta [.] a negare che il passaggio delle comete sia apportatore di disgrazie [.] La cometa oggetto dell'opera è quella di Halley in uno dei suoi passaggi".
