Commando Diary

Unclipped dustwrapper is a little bit disfigured due to creases in the clear plastic covering it (NOT added by a previous owner, just a manufacturing error at the printers, I would think), but no creasing to the dustwrapper itself. Minor bumping to spine ends of red boards, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this not-very-common slim hard-cover book. The author's memories of serving with 1 Commando during WW2, seeing action in North Africa and (mostly) in Burma, finishing the War as Sergeant with a Military Medal. 127pp, 8pp b&w illustrations, 7 maps. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
