A large quarto volume bound in full old but assumed later calf which is rubbed at the extremities. With 5 raised spine bands and decorative gilt on the spine with a leather label. Hinges a little cracked but still tight. This is three volumes in one, textually with 360, 376 and 336 pages. Each with a separate title page, contents, vignette etc, followed by a lengthy index after each section. The text shows some uneven browning, spotting, but is all readable.
