The first UK edition, issued a year after the Irish edition. 8vo. 165pp. Card wrappers (not issued in casebound format until the omnibus edition of 1992). Wrappers very lightly marked and spotted, and with a near-invisible readership crease to the spine. Edges, endpapers and three or four preliminary and concluding leaves quite light spotted. A very good copy of the author's first book, and the first volume of his celebrated Barrytown series.
