'At Cornell, his famous course of comparative neuroanatomy emerged. Dr. Elizabeth C. Crosby relates that while some neuroanatomists were experts on this or that phylum, Papez was an authority on all of them. This is evident in his Comparative Neurology' (Haymaker & Schiller, Founders of Neurology, pp. 145-46).
