xvi, 654 p. Table of Cases. Index. Scarce item. Two previous compilations had been made. The first was by Clarke and Hall covered some cases from 1789 to 1834. The second was by Bartlerr, which covered some cases from 1834 to 1865. This volume contains the Senate cases from 1789 to December 1885, containing not only contested cases, but all cases in which the right to a seat of any persone who had presented credentials had been questioned and for which the Senate had deemed proper to investigate or to discuss the question. Fair. No dust jacket as issued. Ex-library. Usual library markings. Cover has wear and soiling. Somewhat shaken. Corner of fep clipped.
