221 pages with 20 full page colour litho plates by James Thorpe and a colour frontis after the portrait by Jacob Huysmans, uncut edges, quarter lime green buckram with marbled paper boards, dustwrapper handled with minor edge chips and some age browning, a clear tidy inscription in ink on FFEP "Hoping your future catches may be truly phenomenal. W. Norman Moore, Aug 1928". 1st Foulis edition with the Thorpe plates. Quarto.

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
