Six Maples Books is devoted to finding, listing and selling unique and intriging books and other items. We operate with integrity and will represent ourselves and products honestly and respectfully.
Shipping Terms
- Items ship within 2 days (48 hrs) from receipt of order.
- Packaging consists of protective wrapping paper, plastic wrap, bubble wrap and outer shipping barrier (box, envelop, heavy paper).
- Standard postage rates apply.
- Delivery within the timeframe quoted to Buyer and in the condition described online.
- Additional cost for insurance on item(s) to be shipped at Buyer expense unless negotiated otherwise.
6 Additional postage may be required based on size, weight.and configuration. - Shipment tracking detail provided on orders as requested.
- Six Maples Books will not use or disclose customer information for any purpose other than fulfilling an order.
Return Policy
Six Maples Books accepts returns as follows:
- Return is initiated within 30 days of the estimated delivery.
- Refund rates are based on the return reason:
Definitions of Return Reasons and Corresponding Reimbursement Amounts:
'Buyer Does Not Want Item'
Six Maples Books is not required to accept a return for this reason and may choose to cancel the return request.
The return is considered to be accepted unless cancelled by Six Maples Books within two business days.
Buyer is refunded the item price only.
'Item Did Not Arrive':
Buyer can initiate a refund for 'Item did not arrive' within 30 days after an order's estimated delivery date.
Six Maples Books is responsible for the item until it is received by the buyer. Signature delivery confirmation will protect Six Maples Books against claims of non-delivery.
Buyer is refunded the item price plus original shipping.
'Item Was Damaged':
Item was damaged in transit.
Buyer is refunded the item price, original shipping, plus return shipping equal to the original shipping or the equivalent to the standard shipping on free shipping orders.
'Item Not as Described':
Buyer claims the item they received does not match the description as stated.
Six Maples Books will accept all Item Not as Described returns.
If Six Maples Books disagrees, the buyer is refunded the item price, plus original shipping, but not return shipping.
If Six Maples Books agrees, the buyer is refunded the item price, original shipping, plus return shipping equal to the original shipping or the equivalent to the standard shipping on free shipping orders.
'Incorrect Item Delivered':
The item sent to the buyer was not the item the buyer ordered.
Buyer is refunded the item price, original shipping, plus return shipping equal to the original shipping or the equivalent to the standard shipping on free shipping orders.
'Order Accepted in Error':
After processing an order, Six Maples Books finds the order cannot be fulfilled, i.e. the item’s condition is not as described, or the item was previously sold.
Buyer is refunded the item price plus original shipping.
'Buyer Cancelled Before Shipping':
Buyer requests cancellation of the order after it has been processed but prior to shipping.
Buyer is refunded the item price plus original shipping.
'Partial Refund':
Buyer and Six Maples Books have agreed to a partial refund amount. Buyer is refunded only the amount specified.
Six Maples Books will not issue a partial refund that is greater than 75% of the total order value.
All returns, regardless of payment method, are subject to the return policies as outlined above.
All refunds must be issued via the same payment method originally used to pay for the order.
Six Maples Books will provide a refund in cases where an item is unclaimed, returned due to an incomplete address, returned to sender, or similar reason.
Return Dispute Resolution:
All return disputes are to be handled between Six Maples Books and buyer. Returns will be processed online once a resolution is reached.
- If the return reason cannot be deternined, the minimum required refund amount is equal to the item price
- Original shipping and return shipping costs will be evaluated based on each return reason
- There is no restocking charge on returned goods.

Delivery times are set by sellers and vary by carrier and location. Orders passing through Customs may face delays and buyers are responsible for any associated duties or fees. Sellers may contact you regarding additional charges to cover any increased costs to ship your items.
