Illustrated throughout with small figures demonstrating dance moves, including quadrilles, reels, etc. along with pointers on customs and behavior. Illustrated yellow hardcover with green cloth spine, yellow endpapers with advertising, additional engraved title page, 237 pages plus many pages of publisher's ads, some on yellow paper. Many of the ads, particularly on the endpapers, are for books to provide amusements, including card games, sports, parlor games, the "art and etiquette of making love", checkers and chess, magic, fortune telling, dialogues, etc. Some cover wear and soil, corners rubbed, good hinges, sound text block, short closed tear to lower margin of engraved title page, light foxing to rear endpapers, pages clean, no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
