9 1/4 x 11 Volumes I, II, and III have full original calf covers with tooled edges and gilt decorated corners, gold titles with raised bands to gilt decorated spines, marbled end papers and frontis pieces with engraved and printed titles, consisting of a complete atlas and numerous handsome engravings of places, charts and graphs in continuous pagination to 1394. All bindings are firm, secure boards have minimal soiling and rubbing including corners; texts show little evidence of usage with minor to moderate toning and foxing to approximately half the pages, few pages having damp staining and short creases to corners. Uncommon well preserved volumes. Photos upon request. Packed well and shipped in a sturdy box.
