Very Good+ hardcover with a light tap to one tip and light rubbing at the extremities in a Very Good+ dust jacket with light rubbing to the tips, two tiny chips to the crown, and a touch of shelf wear. All dust jackets are protected by a clear mylar cover. BOOKS SHIP THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, WRAPPED IN PADDING, IN A BOX. Burson overlays photographs on one another to produce a fusion of the images, to produce a composite, "generic" type, such "Man Movie Star"; also early use of computers to produce portraits of people that have been aged or de-aged. Creepy images, some of which were used by police in their efforts to find missing people. Photographs by Nancy Burson with assistance from Richard Carling and David Kramlick; essay by William A. Ewing and Jeanne A. McDermott. SIGNED BY BURSON on the half title; no inscription. 95 pages; b&w photographic plates and text illustrations throughout; 9 x 11 inches.
