How to Conquer That Woman! In 10 Easy Lessons (a practical satire) by Josef Holman. Illustrated with b&w cartoons by Josef Holman. Classic 1970s-vintage cover artwork showing the author & his wife Colleen. From rear cover (in part): "Josef Holman was born in the golden city of Prague during those good old days when there were no silly bus or any other strikes, when politicians kept their promises, the taxes or cost of living were humane, the world was at peace and men wore the pants. How to Conquer That Woman is written in Holman's down-to-earth English while containing many practical ideas. His hints are based on actual experiences and research. In fact it took him several years to write as he found the research rather interesting. Undoubtedly, this book will bring some kind of a benefit to the many suffering or needy males (and even to females!) whose problem is SEX - which seems to be always the greatest problem of them all. All in all it's a beaut satire!". Uncommon title, with Trove showing only 2 libraries in Australia holding copies (National Library of Australia, State Library of NSW). Mass market paperback. Printed in Australia. Slight handling wear, mild rubbing to cover, lightly cracked in middle, otherwise a nice clean solid softcover copy. xiv + 82pp. Scarce. SB-88.…
