The story itself follows "Cop" from puppy to Police dog hero bringing some robbers to their defeat. 160 pages with nine full page three-toned; gray, white and yellow illustrations, by Bransom including a frontis. As an Appendix of the exciting adventure story follows up with 21 pages with photos of champion notable shepherds from around the world from the recent past. These canine bios include all the physical attributes as well as their lineage.
