89 pp. Marbled boards with sage green title box on front board. Paper title on spine intact and clear. Corners are rubbed. Wear to the extremities. Plain end papers are toned but unmarked, as is the interior. Dust jacket is very good due to a 3/4" chip top of spine. Pictorial and unclipped, it has a striking black and white art deco design by Charles Cullen. Original price of $2.00 on flap. Cullen illustrates the interior beautifully as well. A nice first edition from the esteemed African American poet and author of "Color" and "The Ballad of the Brown Girl." Size: Duodecimo.

The Chatham Bookseller has been in historic Madison, NJ for more than forty-five years. Ours is a general shop which emphasizes good literature, art and scholarly books in many different fields.
