Plymouth. Mabecron Books Ltd. First printing in this edition. Full number line including 1 on the copyright page. Previously published in 1986 by Andersen Press as The Magic Ointment. This new edition enlarged and the black and white illustrations in colour by Michael Foreman. Post �10" x 8" [25.4cm x 20cm] approx. 109 pp. Matt wraparound illustrated boards with decorated endpapers. Laminated coloured dust wrapper again in wraparound design but different to the book. The book is square and tight. No previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, the corners and spine ends sharp. The pages and closed page edges are clean. No remainder marks. The dust jacket is crisp and complete; unclipped at �15.99. The colours are bright and unfaded, corners and spine ends are sharp and fresh. Eleven stories including the Magic Ointment listed in the seller's images. Folklore tales of strange, ghostly, grizzly and mischievous goings on in Cornwall. The dust jacket will be protected with a new inert archival Brodart sleeve which is removable. Please contact us if you would like any more information or additional images.
