First edition (1980). Hardcover in good condition with original dust jacket. Dust jacket is protected in a clear plastic cover, which is taped to the book. Plastic shows some light scuffs and scratches. There is some light spotting / discoloration along the text block edges (visible when the book is closed), but the interior pages are clean and unmarked. Previous owner's name and address sticker is affixed to the inside front board, and their name and acquisition date are handwritten in pen on the first page. There are a few pencil notes on this page as well, noting edition and original purchase price. Binding is generally sound, though the spine is beginning to lift slightly from the text block. An excellent reading or research copy of The Correspondence of F. Scott Fitzgerald, edited by Matthew J. Bruccoli. This collection offers rare insight into the personal and literary life of one of America's most iconic authors.
