A collection of period country recipes, edited for modern use, combined with selections from Holden's hand drawn garden and plant Illustrations. Here and theresome blank lined leaves are bound in for owner's to add recipes. 3 or 4 of these pages have recipes added in manuscript and in one case from news clippings. Superficial rubbing to gilt titles at spine; publisher's price on the rear board has been inked out. G++ to VG-.
