This leather bound volume contains 26 weekly issues (Jan 1- June 30, 1861) of The Country Gentleman, "A journal for the farm, the garden and the fireside, devoted to improvement in rural affairs, to elevation in mental, moral, and social character, and to a record of science, progress, and the times". Good overall condition, though there is a large abrasion to the front cover cloth and scattered foxing and staining to the pages.
